Here at SCAL we strive to provide children (and adults) with quality horse time – where you can learn the ins and outs of the horse world – while gaining other beneficial skills along the way!
About Cedar Springs
Cedar Springs Arena and Livery has been in operation since 1999. CSAL is now under new management/owners in hopes of keeping Gene Dixon’s dream alive. Gene opened CSAL to provide a place where children and adults could come and experience horses in a real, safe and fun environment while progressing at their own individual needs. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Sacrament – nestled in the beautiful foothills of El Dorado County – right off El Dorado Road. We are operational year around thanks to our covered indoor arena. We are located on 7.5 acres, with multiple arenas and some trails on site. We also have access to over 40 acres of BLM land (trails for beginner and advanced riders). Come join us!
